1. High School Peer Tutoring — With P.A.S.S. Peer Tutors

  • Details: Stay on top of your work with help from P.A.S.S. Peer Tutors at Hinsdale Public Library (HPL). Tutors are available in all levels of math, physics, biology, chemistry, Spanish, and AP Euro.
  • About P.A.S.S.: Peer Athlete Student Scholars is a group of Hinsdale Central students who bridge the gap between academics and athletics by providing peer study groups and one-to-one academic support.

2. Navigating AI's Impact on Students: College Admissions, Curriculum Choices & Career Paths

  • Date & Time: Tuesday, September 1, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
  • Speaker: Ryan Gainor, Summa Factor College Admissions and Career Consulting
  • Details: Discover how AI is reshaping college admissions and learn how to make smarter degree and major choices with the impact of AI in mind.

3. Maintaining Balance in Academics & Activities — Navigating High School & Middle School Successfully

  • Date & Time: Tuesday, September 8, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
  • Location: The Community House, 415 W. Eighth Street, Hinsdale
  • Details: Hear from community experts on the keys to success in high school. We will cover balancing academics and extracurriculars, workload management tips, strategies to stay positive, and where to go for help.
  • Presenters: Presented in partnership with P.A.S.S. Peer Tutoring, D86 Hinsdale Central & Hinsdale South High Schools, D181 Hinsdale & Clarendon Hills Middle Schools, and The Community House.

4. Study Skills with P.A.S.S. Peer Tutors

  • Date & Time: Sunday, September 13, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
  • Details: Create personalized study calendars, review flashcards, and learn proven study strategies to improve note-taking, strengthen memory, and retain information more effectively. Led by P.A.S.S. Peer Tutors.
