The WHOLE Red Devil PTO Expo provides a place for parents and students to meet and talk with a variety of local resources and companies. The expo is held in the Hinsdale Central High School Cafeteria on the same night as Curriculum Night, the open house event when the most number of parents visit the school at one time (to meet their child's teacher). As each student and family have varying needs for dealing with the pressures of high school, we are offering a single location for local providers to showcase their services.

Evening Schedule for Tutors / Vendors
4:30 p.m. Set-up, displays allowed
5:00 p.m. Parents may arrive early
5:30 p.m. The WHOLE Red Devil PTO Expo officially begins
7:00 p.m. Curriculum Night begins (another event)
7:30 p.m. Stick around, parents return throughout the evening
9:00 p.m. Both events end -please clean up your area
9:15 p.m. All displays and materials cleared out -Thank you!

What to expect: We have schedule the Expo the same evening as Curriculum Night, an event that draws the most number of parents to the school in one evening. You must set up by 5:00 p.m. as parents will arrive early. From 5:30-7:00 p.m. you will have the full attention of parents. At 7:00 p.m. Curriculum Night begins. Parents will leave the cafeteria, but as the night continues, many will return for the Expo. We encourage you to stay the whole evening.
We advertise for the Expo via school e-blast, PTO e-blasts, the outdoor school marquee off of 55th Street.
We will have some refreshments (water and cookies) thanks to Quest Foods, for both you and our parents.
Materials You May Want To Bring:
1) Your own name tag
2) Extension cord, if you need power
3) Table covers
4) Materials (business cards, flyers, etc -- for about 50-100)
5) Displays are welcome, though not necessary
Location: Hinsdale Central High School: 5500 S Grant St Hinsdale, IL 60521. We will provide signs once you are in the building to show the way to the main cafeteria.
Parking: Please park at the District Office parking lot. Feel free to drop items off at the 'poolside door' first. If that is full, you may park in the student lot, Southwest (of Grant Street), behind the school. See the map attached for both areas.
Entrance: Door 5, pool doors off Grant Street (East side of Bldg.). There is a ramp for handicap and easy access. Once in, we will have signs to help you find your way to the cafeteria.
Entering the Cafeteria: No need to check-in. There will be assigned tables and we'll have maps available. Make sure to say Hello and grab a map to find out where your table is located. Remember, parents start arriving early, so set up by 5:00 p.m.
Displays: Large displays are allowed but please come early to set-up.
Tables: Fill size tables will be 6' and Half-sized tables will be 3' in order to accommodate all of our vendors. The tables are typical lunch style with attached benches (the school cafeteria tables). We can move them if you have a floor to ceiling set-up but you must arrive early to give us time. You will want to bring a table cover (paper, plastic or cloth). We'll have paper towels and spray if your table is not clean, though we try to clean them up before you arrive.
Clean-Up: Leave it as you found it please.
